Staff Engineer - Santa Clara, CA, United States - GPAC

Description

The Staff Engineer position carries out the project design aspects as they relate to civil engineering applications. This may include, but is not limited to, utility design (i.e. storm and sanitary sewage systems, potable water systems, etc.), hydrology analysis, grading and earthwork design and general site development engineering applications. This involves design and administrative work, as well as production of design into documentation as necessary.

The successful candidates is expected to coordinate project teams in all project related tasks including production efforts, quality control, specifications, construction drawings, submittals and construction administration.

4-5 year degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited ABET College/University is strongly preferred, but not required

• Solid design and hand graphics coupled with a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
• An understanding of construction sequencing and material detailing specifically for civil engineering roles
• Must have experience producing post-construction stormwater management plans and report writing for such plans.
