    Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for a Manufacturing Director of Environmental Health and Safety Recycling Industry position.

    This role focuses on the responsible reuse, repair, and recycling of end-of-life electronic equipment.

    The Director of Environmental Health and Safety will be responsible for the maintenance, management and monitoring of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

    Ensuring that QEH&S Management System is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with R2v3 Standard/


    RIOS:


    2016Reporting to management on the performance of the QEH&S Management System and any necessary changes for improvementEnsuring that awareness of customer requirementsEnsuring that health and safety is properly addressed and managed within the systemResolve matters pertaining to the QEH&SMSImprove, maintain and monitor the QEHS Management SystemOversee all QEHS Audits of facilities and processesVendor relationships and compliance audits and reviewsDocument compliance monitoring, including maintaining and archiving various recordsAttend relevant compliance training sessions and conferencesDocuments non-conformities and its process, management agenda meetings, corrective action reports, facility inspection reports, emergency drills, equipment condition reports, injury/incident investigations, employee training records, forklift training and certification, SDS sheetsEnsure all actions and products comply with the company's commitment to quality and regulations governing the QEHS Management SystemWorking closely with multiple departments consisting of Operations, HR, Logistics, Product Sales and AdminProvide technical and administrative support for permit applications, reporting, and regulatory compliance as it pertains to universal waste, storm water, electronics, solid waste, hazardous waste, etc.

    Qualifications :


    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and trainingMinimum of 5 years of experience in EHS & compliance fieldAbility to balance compliance with business needs and help to incorporate both.

    Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsHighly proficient with MS Office 365
