- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting functions.
- Assist with Internal and External Audit requests.
- Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
- Support inventory accounting processes including book to physical adjustments, inventory reserves and physical inventory audits or observations.
- Provide support and guidance to junior members of the finance team.
- Contribute to the elaboration and processing of the balance sheets and financial overviews
- Evaluate capital projects and enter them in the Capex system to route for approval.
- Understand key business unit operating metrics/drivers and measure performance to established metrics.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance senior roles.
- ERP System expertise required; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, macros, etc.
- Solid team player with the ability to work independently in a confident, deliberate and productive manner.
- Ability to research issues and arrive at logical well-documented analysis and conclusions.
- Effective verbal and written communicator with both financial and non-financial individuals.
- Ability to work with others in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and management.
- Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed, performs work independently without being prompted.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality, accuracy, and accountability.
