Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Office Scheduler to join our Corporate Headquarters team.This position plays a key part in delivering seamless patient experiences while supporting our physicians and clinical teams.
- schedule clinic appointments including consultations and follow-up visits using CPS/GE Centricity and Scheduling Assistant.
- collect and update patient demographic insurance medical information
- verify insurance eligibility at the time of scheduling process referrals through the referral system schedule patients import documents into charts answer resolve incoming calls triage messages escalate concerns when needed communicate with referring providers ensure patients fully prepared for appointments collaborate daily with referral coordinators enhance patient experience maintain confidentiality health records compliance HIPAA guidelines perform other duties assigned,Requirements Education:, High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred Experience: 2+ years healthcare required call center experience preferred Familiarity CPS/GE Centricity plus Knowledge: Medical terminology ICD/CPT coding HIPAA regulations scheduling practices clinical setting Skills Excellent communication customer service organizational skills strong computer data entry proficiency Abilities Multi-tasking fast-paced environment determining insurance eligibility technology tools Outlook Microsoft Office CPS/GE Centricity demonstrate professionalism punctuality compassionate communication this description intended provide only basic guidelines meeting job requirements responsibilities knowledge skills abilities working conditions may change needs evolve
