Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Consultant / Business Analyst to join our team, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
The successful candidate will perform a variety of complex engagement tasks that require both practical experience and theoretical knowledge in specialized areas of business analysis and consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee consultant staff to ensure high-quality customer engagement delivery within specified guidelines.
Perform complex engagement tasks requiring practical experience and state-of-the-art theoretical knowledge.
Ensure the effective execution of projects and alignment with client objectives and expectations.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
Contribute to the development of innovative strategies to enhance business processes and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
The position operates on a hybrid work schedule, requiring on-site presence for five days each pay cycle, primarily in the DC metropolitan area, at various identified VA location.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related consulting role.
Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage consultant teams.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in analyzing complex business scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar.
Experience working with the VA or other government agencies.
Proven track record of successful project management and strategic implementation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge, experience and understanding of VHA.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
