    Your Role:
    This is the first role of its kind on the engineering team.

    To start, you'll report to the VP of Engineering, then depending on the growth of the team that may evolve.

    As the mid-level II or senior software engineer, your primary responsibility will be to partner with designers, artists, and engineers to identify and solve issues related to client and server operations and performance.

    You'll be an integral part of the team ensuring players have the best possible experience in-game. If you love crafting world-class game experiences, collaborating with extraordinarily talented cross-functional teams, then APPLY

    What You'll Do:
    Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues

    Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of efficient and scalable monitoring for production and test environments

    Participate in the creation and implementation of operational policies and procedures in order to minimize risk and maximize uptime and peak client performance

    Leverage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to track and resolve open issues over multiple deployed versions

    Implement automation and tooling to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes

    Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support


    What You'll Need:
    Highly empathetic towards and supportive of team members

    Approachable and excited to collaborate on code design and tech

    An insatiable curiosity and a passion for learning and discovery

    Experience with modern mobile game design and architecture paradigms

    Ability to articulate technical ideas effectively over many communication types (face-to-face, video call, wiki, Slack, etc)

    Passionate about playing and making great games

    Extensive experience with C#, .NET, and Unity applications

    Nice to Have, but Not Necessary:
    Experience with server-authoritative multiplayer systems with client prediction

    Willing to mentor other engineers and be invested in their growth

    Experience with Git, .NET, and AWS

    The total compensation for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $120,000 - $200,000

    USD + equity + comprehensive benefits + potential for discretionary performance bonuses.

    Individual pay within this salary range may span multiple levels within the discipline and is determined by assessed job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training.

    It also factors in market demands and business needs.

    The disclosed range is not adjusted based on location and may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future.
