Great NE Emergency Medicine opportunity for Supplemental
coverage starting 5/23/24 or ASAP and ongoing.
Outpatient
Shift: 5 days/week every other week (Fri. - Tue.) 1-2 days
clinic work
Call: 3-4 days of call availability
Weekends Required
Health Clinic hours are Mon. - Fri. 9a-5p, Sat. 9a-12p
Locum would need to be on-site for clinic hours.
Other than those hours, required to be within 30 min. for ER coverage.
Setting:
Rural, small town with approximately 2,000 pop.
Duties:
On-call for ER, IP floor and clinic ( numbers are low)
PPS:
ER 3; IP Floor 2.7; Clinic (generally Urgent Care) 8
Coverage will also include Chief of Staff, Med. Director and Physicians.
Required Procedures:
Intubating, suturing, lesion removal, chest tubes
Generally don't do central lines.
EMR:
Cerner
Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurance Form Malpractice
insurance provided.
