    Description
    A client of Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their production team in the St. Louis, MO area. This individual is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing the design plans for production.

    Using blueprints and specifications, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for writing procedures and work instructions for team members and engineers to follow through fabrication, assembly, delivery, and post-production.

    This individual will continuously analyze the manufacturing process to ensure the current requirements are modified as needed to establish best practice.

    The Manufacturing Engineer will work 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) onsite 5 days a week.

    . Required Skills & ExperienceABET accredited or Bachelors Degree in a STEM field (Aerospace, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred)5+ years of experience supporting a manufacturing operationPrevious experience with process improvement or Lean ManufacturingAbility to work onsite 5 days a week in St. Louis, MOAbility to obtain secret clearance post start Nice to Have Skills & ExperiencePrior experience in the aerospace/defense industryExperience with MESci, CATIA, CREO, IVT, Solidworks, ProModel, Aurora, GoldESP PDMActive Secret clearance Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
