    Position available on 8 hour graveyard shift 

    Pay:

    • Compensation: The pay for this position is pre-determined at $24.44 per hour. Compensation for this role has been determined based on required experience, education, certification, and training. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
    • Shift Differential: An additional $1.75 is paid per hour for working graveyard shift.
    • 60 Day Raises: $0.50 wage increase after 60 days of employment.
    • Quarterly Bonuses: Earn up to 7% per quarter based on safety, quality, and other metrics.

    Schedule

    • 8 hour graveyard shift working Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
    • Overtime as the business need requires

    About the Position

    The purpose of this position is to provide ingredient supply, product changeover, shortening packaging, and other services required to convert raw materials into dry mixes for our customers.

    Essential Functions: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

    • Supplies indoor silo requirements through operation of bulk dump stations.
    • Verifies correct product connected and conveyed to proper silo.
    • Accurately utilizes computerized process stock location inventory menus and windows.
    • Completes and processes bag dump, inventory, cleandown, safety, shift tie-in, and other related documentation in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
    • Performs routine and changeover sanitation tasks within regulatory, GMP, lockout/tagout, and confined space entry guidelines.
    • Properly uses and cares for the cleaning equipment used in process sanitation.
    • Properly sets up and shuts down oil/shortening packaging scales.
    • Performs check weighs, density, sifter, and screener inspections as required.
    • Produces to scheduled oil/shortening requirements.
    • Supplies bulk dump stations with a sufficient supply of the right ingredients.
    • Performs automatic and manual manipulation of various process equipment and devices.
    • Follows GMP's at all times.

    • Computer literate.

    Able to:

    • Work in a safe manner at all times.
    • Lift 60 lbs. on a regular basis.

    • Safeguard product quality and follows GMP, housekeeping, and food safety guidelines.
    • Process information systematically to identify and eliminate problem causes.
    • Manage time efficiently and effectively, self motivated.
    • Manage multiple tasks and priorities.
    • Clearly communicate using a variety of media.
    • Develop good working relationships with fellow team members.
    • Coach, train and develop others.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
    • 2 years of Food processing and packaging machinery experience preferred. 
    • Forklift experience helpful

    Safety/Legal

    Employee must follow procedures to ensure all food quality standards are met or exceeded. 

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    As a member of the operations team, you will be exposed to a variety of physical demands that require you to lift heavy objects (up to 60 pounds), climb stairs, exert energy, bend, twist and squat, and use tools and equipment.  Employees stand and walk on concrete while wearing steel-toed shoes, uniforms, hair nets, bump caps, gloves and safety glasses.  The use of company–provided hearing protection is also required in stated areas. Work takes place in an indoor production environment that has a high level of food dust and limited climate control.  Will enter confined spaces and work at above-floor heights.
