    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Staff Accountant - Equipment is responsible for maintaining the accounting and financial records for the Companys equipment inventory and rental fleet. They will work closely with the operations and accounting teams to facilitate daily operations to ensure inventory costs are appropriately captured and recorded.

    WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL:

    • Manage equipment and rental fleet inventory records for multiple entities
    • Review and post sales transactions for equipment and rental sales
    • Validate inventory equipment transactions daily
    • Evaluate financing alternatives for equipment purchases and make recommendations to management and the operations team
    • Correspond with floor plan lenders and monitor payment requirements
    • Support branch staff relating to equipment and rental fleet inventory movement procedures
    • Assist with completing timely month-end financial closing
    • Prepare and post journal entries and resolve posting errors related to equipment inventory and rental fleet
    • Perform monthly reconciliations on general ledger accounts and subledgers
    • Assist with internal, external, and floor plan audits
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Company

    • Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Analytical/problem-solving skills
    • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work on several projects simultaneously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to remain patient, calm and understanding with employees and vendors with effective tolerance of varied situations
    • Ability to work independently and on a team
