At Northern Idaho Advanced Care Hospital, we are passionate about patient care We provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries and has earned The Joint Commission's Respiratory Failure Certification. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. At our 40-bed hospital, we are a free-standing, long-term acute care hospital serving patients in communities throughout the Inland Northwest.

We are seeking a Receptionist PRN to join our team of passionate patient caregivers

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

Responsibilities

The Receptionist is responsible for providing hospital telecommunication services through the use of telephones, pagers, the paging system, radio, or computer to connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families. May maintain records related to telecommunications. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
