- This position is based at Highland Park, but will include some rotation to other sites.
- Team members rotate to various sites including:
- Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park & Skokie Hospitals
- Off sites: Bannockburn, Gurnee, Vernon Hills
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of assigned patients in cardiac rehab based on current standards and practices.
- Set-up and administer all aspects of diagnostic exercise testing using various testing modes while monitoring the patient
- Operate and troubleshoot cardiac diagnostic testing equipment
- Determine and educate patients on appropriate exercise interventions
- B.S. in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field
- Strong knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia, anatomy, and physiology
- BLS CPR from the American Heart Association
- 6+ months experience in a clinical setting (e.g., as an EP or in a related internship/clinical)
- EKG interpretation experience highly preferred
