SUMMARY
Entry level position that focuses on providing customer service in providing assistance to staff in a fast-paced environment.
In the event of a natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee may be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AMD ABILITIES

Collect fees or other charges from the guest while operating a POS (Point of Sale) computerized revenue collection system.
Balance cash drawer to ensure money received matches sales processed.
Operate a concession facility by preparing and providing patrons with supplies, refreshments, confectionery items requested and customer receipts.
Clean concession facility and equipment;
Greets visitors; provides information and services to beach chair rentals, birthday party and cabana customers.
Work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
Answer phone inquiries and give information to the public accurately and courteously; for golf course: may assist the public in booking tee times.
Fills containers with condiments and beverages, makes popcorn,
Unstacks beach chairs, set-up, clean pads, pick up debris, change trash cans, check restrooms for cleanliness, stack and secure chairs.
Operates beach equipment rental facility.
Performs work related to this job description as required.

Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette and procedures.
Knowledge of basic sanitation and safety requirements for the handling of food.
Knowledge of the operational and maintenance requirements of the equipment utilized in the facility to which assigned.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public and co-workers.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
Ability to assist in special events.
Ability to write simple correspondence, respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, service vendors, coaches, local businesses or other staff members.
Ability to maintain facilities clear of safety hazards.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least fourteen (14) years of age or older.
Additional qualifying education and/or experience which provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted one for the other on a year for year basis.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License
