GENERAL FUNCTION:
Ensures basic medical services are provided to students on accordance with PRH (Exhibit 2-4 Job Corps Basic Health Care Responsibilities).
Assumes primary oversight responsibility for the health care services on a 24 hour/7-day week basis and provides daily management and nursing services.
The Health and Wellness Director will ensure all students are treated with dignity and respect as well as managing the quality of their care.
The Health and Wellness Director is also responsible for providing leadership to the health and wellness team.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Nurse or nurse practitioner.
Minimum of an associate degree in nursing must have an active, unrestricted license to practice in state where center is located.
Licenses or Certificate:
n Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
n A valid Regular Driver License is required.
