    Description
    Our client is a national research society that strives to advance knowledge about education, to encourage scholarly inquiry related to education, and to promote the use of research to improve education and serve the public good. They are looking to hire an eager Program Associate to support management and project coordination to advance professional development programs and initiates.     salary: $23 - $24 per hour

    work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM

    Responsibilities
    • Project coordination to advance Professional Development programs and initiatives.
    • Work independently, with guidance and collaboratively, to support professional development courses, fellowship and grants programs, initiatives, and projects.
    • Provide support for coordinating in-person and virtual meetings and special events; conducting research, including literature searches and reviews, analyzing data, and preparing brief written reports on topics related to program initiatives and activities.
    • Coordinate and serve as liaison for virtual events and webinars including development of electronic promotional materials, email recruitment, and responding to questions.
    • These duties also include developing and maintaining electronic and print records and resources for multiple projects, interacting with members and the education research community to support programs, and completing other tasks as assigned.
