    Description
    The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Los Angeles General Medical Center is seeking clinical faculty to join the team.

    There are subspecialty needs for Foot & Ankle Services, Hand Services, Infection Services, Oncology Services, Pediatric Orthopedic Services, Podiatry, Trauma Services, Spine and Sports Medicine In addition to clinical services, these physicians will be involved in trainee education, clinical research, and improving the delivery of care.

    There are excellent opportunities to make an impact by serving the LA population and develop a robust academic career.

    Important to note, this is heavily geared towards orthopedic trauma as an ACS accredited Level 1 trauma center serving the local communities in L.A.

    dealing primarily in high energy, blunt force traumas.


    Position Requirements

    • Candidates must have an MD, DO or equivalent degree.
    • Candidates must be boardcertified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
    • Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
    • Candidates must have completed a fellowship.
    • Hand surgeons – must be proficient in microvascular
