- Minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited university, and in an educational field closely related to elementary education.
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience in any grades preferred).

The Department of Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum in the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education at the University of Oklahoma (OU) - Norman Campus is pleased to invite passionate, creative, and dynamic individuals to be part of a robust program and academic community. We are seeking applications for a full-time instructor to teach courses across disciplines and subject areas within the elementary education undergraduate program. This position is a 9-month, full time, teaching-focused, and renewable instructor line, with a course load of four in-person classes each semester. Teaching responsibilities include content or methodological courses, as well as field placement and supervision that involves maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
We seek applicants who are committed to promoting positive learning experiences for undergraduate pre-service teachers, as well as supporting and mentoring undergraduate teacher candidates in both formal and informal spaces as they navigate teacher preparation and induction. Candidates must be flexible, able to work with deftness within the dynamic environment that is elementary teacher education, and willing to take on different instructional roles within the program.
