About
[Media Client] Is a fortune 50 Broadcast, Media & Entertainment leader headquartered in New York, New York. As a Senior Data Engineer you will have the opportunity work with cutting edge technology to impact the way an industry powerhouse orchestrates and leverages data. In this position you would be on the data engineering team under the Media group supporting TVE (TV Everywhere), Video Streaming App, and Digital Research business units.
Expectations
Support new data platform build & enhancement
Responsible for data conversion
Build and enhance post-design data models
Work with product teams to identify customer lifetime value across [Client's] brand portfolio
Support digital research team to track content and talent performance
Work with marketing team to tailor marketing activations
Publishing and/or presenting data reports to key business stakeholders
Identifying areas for improvement in current systems
Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines
Implement new IT operations into the company from the initial idea to the project completion
Requirements
Strong Data Warehousing background
Strong SQL Skills with analytical thought process
Python programming experience to build UDFs and pre-processing scripts.
Strong experience sourcing and processing data from APIs.
Experience working with Airflow orchestration.
Must have any cloud experience – AWS would be preferred.
Experience on Snowflake Datawarehouse would be nice to have.
Good communication and articulation to work with cross functional teams.
