Schedule:
We have flexible work hours with both morning and evening shifts available for you to choose from. If you prefer morning shifts, we have AM shifts starting at 9:00 a.m. for you to begin your workday.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Monona Catering is currently seeking candidates for Lake Vista Café, our seasonal and relaxed café located on the rooftop of the Monona Terrace with a splendid view of Lake Monona.

Candidates must be available on weekends.

Employees of Lake Vista Café are expected to be friendly, punctual, fun, energetic, and service-oriented individuals who can handle a fast-paced environment.

Prior restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate to join our team.

As this is a seasonal position, we ask that staff do not request extended periods off, such as two weeks or more.

Applicants must be available from early May to the end of September. If you are a college student, we understand that when school starts, you will have to reduce your availability.


The starting wage is $15.18 per hour plus tips, with a Union Raise of .30 on July 1st, plus tips Personal appearance standards apply, including neatly trimmed facial hair and discreet facial piercings. Discounted parking is available, and part of your uniform and meals are provided.

Qualifications:

Experience working in a restaurant is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate to become a part of our team.
