    Description

    HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Ocala, Florida.

    Job Description & Requirements

    Requested Skill Set: 1 year ICU experience minimum

     

    Must have: ACLS, BLS. Neuro and/or trauma background.

     

     

    Advanced skills needed: Advanced hemodynamics.

     

     

    Procedures performed on unit:  intubation. Chest tubes. Thora/paracentesis.  Tranvenous pacers. Bedside tracheostomy; bedside abdominal washouts. Bedside external fixation; bedside Bolt/EVD placement.

    Unit Specifics:

    · Number of Beds : 34

    · Patient Ratios : 2:1

    · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : RN

    · Type of equipment : Rotoprone; CRRT, Impella, ECMO. Vigileo EV 1000.

    · Documentation system: Meditech

    · Scheduling requirements: three 12 hr shifts. Every other weekend.

    · Floating policy: ICU in other areas; Intermediate (3:1) care

    · Patient Experience requirements:

    Hospital Specifics-

    · Certifications: Level II Trauma; Comprehensive Stroke Center (DNV Certification); Open heart program.
