Purpose of Your Role

We are looking for an iOS Software Engineer who has experience working in Swift and Objective-C and is familiar with CI/CD processes to join our team.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that supports the technology side of our business strategies.

Our developers work collaboratively with every department within Apex to improve the user experience, and make recommendations on technology changes.

Occasional onsite work will be required. For this reason candidates should be local to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Responsibilities

Partner with other software engineers, product, business, and design to deliver high quality experiences for our customers

Develop and deliver new features for our iOS applications, and improve existing ones

Take initiative in a fast paced Kanban environment, clarifying and improving requirements when necessary

Provide meaningful code review and mentorship to other engineers

Continue learning and stay up to date with iOS engineering practices and human interface guidelines

What Experience is Required

3+ years of iOS development experience

Experience with Swift and Objective-C

Experience with both UIKit and SwiftUI

Passion for mobile engineering best practices and design guidelines

Comfortable with git in a team environment

Experience with CI/CD and distribution for iOS projects

Proficiency building custom UI components

Have shipped one or more iOS apps to the App Store

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
