Digestive Health Center provides gastrointestinal endoscopic exams to adults and geriatric persons in need of endoscopic exams. Besides direct observation, endoscopy enables biopsy, polyp removal, dilatation and stenting of strictures. Endoscopic exam can provide cautery to bleeding area and may including hemorrhoidal coagulation.Small bowel capsule endoscopy is also available through the Digestive Health Center.� It is located on the 2nd floor of the Hatch Building.

Communicates with staff, patients, and families. Responsibilities Manages the medical care of assigned patients. Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes. Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws. Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service.
