Job DescriptionJob Title: PKI Engineer
Position Type: Contract, initial 6 months to start
Location: Foster City, California (Hybrid schedule)
Salary Range / Rate (Currency): $65 to $85 per hour W2 (USD)

Job Summary (Responsibilities and Requirements):

1. A deep understanding of digital certificate lifecycle management functions and broad experience with different certificate types and uses.
2. Deep knowledge with integrating workflows with Hashicorp Vault
3. Experienced with Microsoft PKI, PrimeKey PKI, AWS Private CA
4. 4+ years of Experience in performing Certificate Authority maintenance tasks such as certificate renewals and template generation.
5. Experience with Hardware Security Module (HSM) configuration and operation.
6. Work with Developers and Engineers to improve security with X.509 certificates and SSH certificates and resolve vulnerabilities in existing code while prioritizing stability, security, and simplicity.
