The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides resident care and support with activities of daily living while ensuring the health safety dignity and comfort of all residents.- Assist residents with meals feeding and hydration
- Provide personal hygiene care including bathing grooming toileting and showers
- Assist with ambulation turning positioning transfers monitoring resident stability by checking vital signs weights recording intake output responding promptly to call lights resident requests observing reporting changes in resident condition nursing staff documenting care required forms reports logs records maintaining privacy dignity compliance HIPAA guidelines following professional standards company policies federal state local regulations JCAHO applicable participating education training opportunities performing duties assigned qualifications current certified nursing assistant certification long-term experience preferred CPR certification ability read write speak understand English physical demands sit stand bend walk regularly lift move pounds visual auditory sufficient written verbal communication moderate noise level work environment reasonable accommodations individuals disabilities essential functions
