    Purpose / Summary:

    As a Wind Technician Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to wind turbine technicians and other personnel working in the wind industry. You will be required to provide practical and theoretical training on safety, first aid, fire awareness, manual handling, and working at heights, among other topics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Delivering wind training courses to wind turbine technicians and other personnel, ensuring that all training is delivered to the highest standard.
    • Creating and maintaining an engaging and stimulating learning environment, utilizing appropriate training methods and techniques.
    • Providing practical and theoretical training on safety, first aid, fire awareness, manual handling, and working at heights, among other topics.
    • Developing and updating training materials, course content, and assessments to ensure they are up to date and relevant to industry standards.
    • Maintaining accurate records of training delivered, including attendance, performance, and certification.
    • Collaborating with the Operations Manager and other instructors to continually improve the quality of training and ensure compliance with GWO requirements.
    • Assisting with the planning and scheduling of training courses, including managing resources and logistics.
    • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times.

    Qualifications

    • GWO certification in one or more modules, including First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights, or other relevant modules.
    • At least 3 years of experience in the wind industry, preferably in a technical or operational role.

    Language Skills

    Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to individuals as well as to a group of people.

    Other Skills and Abilities

    Ability to use IT systems, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Spider.
