By Position: Inventory Clerk II
Reports To: Inventory Control Manager
Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage the inventory control system, manage daily cycle counts, Root Cause Corrective Action analysis for inventory discrepancies, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures
Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, or merchandise
Issues materials from stock to support the operation.
Obtains PODs to support system transactions
Performs routine cycle counts against physical count of stock
Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance
Additional tasks as business needs require
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2+ years experience in inventory control
Exemplary math and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for a minimum of eight hours.
Forklift experience beneficial
Self-motivator
