    Discipline: Bilingual School Psychology

    Location: Near Romeoville, IL

    Hours Per Week: Full time – 37.5 hours per week

    Caseload: K-12th Grade Students;

    Start Date: 2024 – 2025 School Year

We are dedicated to providing exceptional staffing solutions to educational institutions, and we are seeking a dynamic individual to support the diverse needs of students in a bilingual setting.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    As a Bilingual School Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.
    • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
    • Providing counseling and therapeutic interventions to support students' mental health needs.
    • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies.
    • Supporting the implementation of positive behavior support plans and crisis intervention strategies.
    • Advocating for the diverse needs of students and promoting inclusivity within the school community.
    • Providing consultation and training to school staff on topics related to psychology and child development.


    Requirements

    To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

    • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
    • State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
    • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
    • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
