    St. Francis of Assisi School, a dynamic k-8 grade school with over 480 students in Burien, is seeking a positive, enthusiastic junior high science teacher who would be able to teach a seventh grade math class and sixth through eighth grade science classes. Ideal candidates will be active, positive, faith-filled instructors with strong science backgrounds and experience teaching sixth through eighth grade students. Priority will be given to practicing Catholics.

    Successful applicants will:

  • Successfully collaborate with other teachers and staff members
  • Effective classroom managers
  • Able to differentiate instruction
  • Able to use formal and informal assessments as an integral part of their curriculum planning and instruction, and communicate well with parents.
  • Have or be eligible for a current Washington State teaching certificate
  • We are seeking teachers who inspire and engage students and help them to appreciate math and science in new ways.

    Salary: Range is $56,997- $111,680. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
