    RH2 Engineering, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary, employee-owned consulting firm headquartered in Bothell, WA with offices throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. We provide high-quality engineering and scientific services primarily to municipal clients. Services include project conceptualization, planning, design, permitting, construction management, services during construction and administration. RH2 is primarily focused on the water, wastewater and transportation fields.

    These services include industrial control system and SCADA design and planning, software development, facility control system commissioning, IT services, training and on-call support.

    RH2 is a licensed AVEVA (Wonderware), Rockwell Automation, and Ignition developer.

    About the Job


    As a Senior Controls Engineer/PM, you will be working and collaborating with other RH2 team members in the planning, designing, and software development of control systems for water and wastewater facility projects and industrial manufacturing.


    Responsibilities:
    Prepare SCADA/control system upgrade master plans.

    Prepare control system designs and perform control system software development for utility facilities for clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.

    Develop O&M documentation and conduct O&M training sessions.


    Design coordination with other engineering disciplines including mechanical, structural, chemical, and process engineering as well as with clients, power and communication utilities.

    Provide project management/leadership on small or sub projects, review construction submittals, and mentor and direct less experienced control staff.

    Support business development and marketing efforts with preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) from prospective Clients.


    Experience and Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering

    15+ years related engineering experience


    15+ years in SCADA/ control system design including: PLC/ operator interface software development experience (i.e., Allen Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, etc.), SCADA HMI application software development experience (i.e., Wonderware/AVEVA, RSView, FactoryTalk View, Ignition,etc.)



    Understanding of the National Electric Code (NEC) and computer networks, including internet/ intranet LAN/WAN networking skills

    Experience with modern Motor Control Center Technology

    Landline/ wireless communications experience

    Solid computer skills including spreadsheets, and scheduling programs

    Municipal water/ wastewater experience, desired


    Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
    Current P.E. license in Washington or Oregon required

    Individual compensation will vary within a range based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position.

    RH2 values our employees' work/life balance and compensates overtime for hours exceeding 40 regular hours in a work week.

    This position is also eligible for a discretionary performance bonus paid twice a year, dependent upon company and individual performance.
