    Description

    The Pantry Cook will be involved in the salad, appetizer and pastry areas of the kitchen. Providing exceptional service to our exclusive clientele will require an individual that has a passion for service and a knack for working in a collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Inspect and clean food preparation areas, ensure freshness of food and ingredients, and that food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature.
    • Collaborate on menu and food preparation techniques and substitutions when necessary.
    • Present, portion, and garnish food in an appealing manner
    Qualifications
    • Knowledgeable in various cooking and baking techniques
    • Must have prior baking experience
    • Attention to detail
    • Service oriented
    • SERV safe certification preferred
    Experience

    3 or more years working in the service (food and beverage) industry. Education may be considered in place of experience.

    Salary and Schedule

    $22-24 an hour

    FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

    Shift Schedule: 2pm-10pmac Tuesday through Saturday

    The Athletic Club of Columbus (ACC) is an iconic establishment. Created in 1912 by a group of business professionals interested in promoting social and athletic endeavors, the ACC remains an integral part of the Columbus business and political communities. The Club is rich in history and tradition and operates with an eye toward the future and an openness to change, diversity, and inclusion. The ACC is a haven for approximately 1,500 members and their families.
