    SUMMARY: The Supervisor oversees the day-to-day maintenance activities of the drum docks, inventories, projects, inspections, workorders, equipment, and machinery through planning, coordinating, and directing all activities to ensure safety, compliance, maximum production, minimum downtime, and cost control.

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Attend meetings.
    • Work weekends as needed.
    • Plan and review work schedules/ maintenance weekend or after hours call schedule.
    • Performs performance evaluations for maintenance team.
    • Manages the team by setting direction and priorities.
    • Develop reports, logs, inspections.
    • Work as a team and collaborate with other departments.
    • Hire, train, and develop team.
    • Develop, implement, monitor, and operate within the company's goals and guidelines.
    • Develop and maintain purchase orders, invoices, budgets, forecast, and expenses.
    • Utilize methods of making the maintenance department more efficient and effective.
    • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Ensure parts, tools, drum handling tools and components are always in stock.
    • Pressure washing and cleaning of equipment and areas as needed.
    • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned by manager.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • HS Diploma or GED.
    • Must pass preemployment screening, background check, drug screening, and respirator fit testing.
    • 2 years' experience at a drum processing facility.
      • 3 years' experience in an industrial setting.
    • Wear all required PPE in compliance with Environmental Health and Safety guidelines.
    • Off shift work and weekend work.
    • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
      • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds.
      • Active South Carolia driver's license.

    ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Operate machinery such as forklift, track hoe and backhoe.
    • Bachelors degreed preferred but will accept training experience in lieu of degree.
    • Must be able to multi-task.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to work within a team or independently as required.
    • Demonstrate the ability to lead others with or without direct authority.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, word, etc.....).
