Position: Entry-Level CNC Machinist
Shift:+ 2nd: 2pm-10pm – OT Voluntary
Pay: $18 - $20

Job Description:Aerotek is looking for 2nd shift Swiss CNC Lathe Machinists to join one of our client's teams.

This is an exciting career where you will be utilizing the latest technology on Citizen L32, L220E, L20, and L12 Swiss-type turning centers that are capable of turning diameters as small as 1/16" and as large as 1 1/2".These Machinists will be responsible for reading prints and performing quality checks to begin with.

Machinists will then begin learning how to set up CNC Swiss lathes, operate, and adjust/edit programs as needed. Part orders can range from pieces depending on the client. The parts that Swiss Labs manufacture are very small with extremely tight tolerances (+/ Part materials range from stainless steel, copper, brass, and some titanium.


Must Haves:

+ CNC setup/operation or Lincoln Tech Schooling on CNC's+ Ability to read blueprints.+ Experience or knowledge of using micrometers.


Work Environment:

This is a smaller machine shop that has 16 Citizen Swiss Lathes. The shop is very clean and organized. It's not temperature controlled so it will be a little hotter in the summer and cooler in the winter. They manufacture parts for the Aerospace and Medical Industries. Business is very stable for them and even have to turn away certain businesses when they are at full capacity.
