Maintenance Technician for Mobile Home Community - Ridgeland, MS

Job description
Cairn Communities is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a well-established mobile home community. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appearance of the community while providing excellent service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on homes and community facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce future repairs
- Maintain community grounds, including pool, common areas, and amenities
- Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance calls
- Prepare homes for move-in/move-out, including minor renovations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience (mobile home or residential preferred)
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical labor as needed
- On-call availability for emergencies
