    Description
    Senior Financial Analyst (3153) at SMX
    SMX is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to independently provide services to clients by demonstrating extensive financial knowledge within our organization.
    • Lead and manage the financial aspects of a TDL(s) under a significant contract.
    • Interface with various teams and departments including Contracts, Subcontracts, Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Procurement.
    • Oversee Jr. Financial Analysts supporting the TDL.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Manage multiple complex TDL(s) financially.
    • Set up TDL Projects in compliance with contract terms.
    • Identify project risks and profit opportunities.
    • Monitor TDL and manpower costs weekly.
    • Prepare accurate financial estimates and reports.
    • Ensure correct funding status and support billing processes.
    • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
    • Adhere to accounting principles and company policies.
    • Possible career management responsibilities.
    Required Skills:
    • Knowledge of contract types and project cost control.
    • Experience with financial data analysis and reconciliation.
    • Ability to prioritize workload and handle high volumes.
    • Experience with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong problem-solving and program risk management skills.
    • BA or BS Degree desired.
