    Overview


    When patients step into our facility in Camp Hill, our goal is for them to have an outstanding experience – starting right at the front desk. This is where your role comes into play. As a patient service specialist, you will handle both the patient-facing and administrative aspects of our facility. The front desk is your domain to act as a patient advocate, engage with individuals through email and phone, oversee patient payments, and work with various computer programs. The impact you can have on each patient's care journey, even before they depart from the waiting area, should not be underestimated.

    Schedule:

    • Center Location: Camp Hill, PA
    • Type of Employment: Full-Time
    • Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8a-7p, Tuesday & Friday 7a-12p
    • Compensation: Starts at $17.00/hour, subject to experience

    Responsibilities


    We are actively seeking individuals who are adaptable, customer-centric, excellent communicators, detail-oriented, and team players.

    Key responsibilities in this role include:

    • Welcome and register patients, providing them with information on their upcoming visit
    • Schedule patient appointments either in person or over the phone
    • Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders such as attorney offices, insurance firms, translation services, market operational leaders, and the business development team
    • Handle patient co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications
    • Offer patients relevant details about their next appointment during check-out
    • Address information requests from patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues

    Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1 year of Front Desk Experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1 Year of Scheduling Experience
    • Proficiency in using office equipment (e.g., faxes, copiers, computers, telephones)
    • Typing speed of 40 words per minute

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout a workday
    • Adequate manual dexterity for continuous typing (including 10-key)
    • Capability to lift up to 25lbs safely and carry office supplies weighing up to 10lbs using proper lifting techniques
    • Visual acuity (near and far) to maintain precise records, identify individuals, and comprehend written instructions
    • Effective communication skills to understand and provide directions
