    Cleveland OH Onsite 3 days a week
    Lenght: 6 months contract to hire
    Apex Systems is supporting a fortune 200 company with a Senior Java Developer position.

    The Senior ApplicationDeveloper is responsible for the design, development, integration, implementation, and support of web-based application software in a full-stack environment.

    The Systems are primarily focused on Java/Oracle.
    Other areas of involvement may include providing web services to corporate and other departments. Development responsibilities will encompass new logic/features, enhancements, and bug fixes/support.
    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience.
    Must Haves
    -1-2years of IT experience.

    • Minimum of 2years of experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
    • Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.
    -1-2years Java, ORM/JPA/Hibernate, Web Services, Object-oriented design techniques, and common design patterns.
    -1-2years of experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures toOracle databases.

    • Experience testing, debugging, and diagnosing software bugs and system issues.
    • Experience in automated testing desired.
    • Microservices experience
    • Advanced skills implementing API and Microservices architecture using any of the market leading solutions
    • Experience in implementing business critical, high volume, and highly available services is a must.
    • A strong hands on development track records building integration and application utilizing a variety of technologies, development tools and database systems.
