- Provides pharmacy services and assistance under the supervision of a pharmacist.

- Fills medication carts on a daily basis.
- Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- LIC PHARMT: Illinois licensure as a Pharmacy Technician.
- 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
- CPhT: Certification as a Pharmacy Technician

Job DescriptionThe Pharmacy Technician reflects the mission, vision, and values of NMHC, adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Chemotherapy/hazardous drug sterile compounding experience preferred.
Days shift: 7a - 3:30p. Will be able to pick up additional shift if available.
Saturday requirement is a must.
