    Description
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Keeping equipment fueled and cleaned at all times
    • Reporting any and all accidents immediately
    • Reporting any deficiencies with the equipment
    • Unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner
    • Pulling parts and distributing to the appropriate area
    • Loading materials into vehicles and installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools
    • Other tasks or duties as may be assigned by supervisor
    • Greeting all inbound/outbound drivers for all freight delivery and pickups
    • Unloading and loading according to company procedures
    • Visually inspecting all incoming freight before unloading, noting obvious damage or exceptions on the driver's delivery receipt, utilizing the driver as a witness
    • Comparing inbound pack list and delivery receipt to delivered freight and match to company purchase order
    • Noting concealed damage or counting variances in the Purchase Order and packing list
    • Notifying supervisor immediately of any exceptions and securing supervisor's signature (per supervisor's inspection) on the Purchase Order
    • Informing the Purchasing Agent named on the Purchase order of all exceptions
    • Utilizing material handling equipment to unload/load all trucks in a safe and efficient manner
    • Supporting the manufacturing process with safe material handling
    • Maintaining the receiving dock, outdoor storage and warehouse storage area to utilize space, ensure inventory accuracy and keep areas safe and clear
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
