    Travel RN – Ambulatory (Surgical Ambulatory Care)

    Syracuse, NY

    Start Date: 03/13/2026 (Must Start on a Friday)

    Duration: 13 Weeks

    Shift: Days

    Schedule: 5x8-Hour Shifts

    Care Setting: Ambulatory / Surgical Ambulatory Care

    EMR: EPIC Preferred

    NEED START ASAP

    HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Ambulatory RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Syracuse, New York. This role requires strong surgical ambulatory experience and the ability to work independently with minimal orientation.

    Required Experience

    • Ambulatory care experience

    • Surgical experience required, specifically:

      • Burn

      • Colorectal

      • Thoracic

      • General Surgery

      • Trauma

    • Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma designation required

    • Minimum 1.5 years of recent (within past 2 years) acute care experience

    • EPIC experience preferred

    Certifications (as applicable to specialty)

    • BLS required

    • ACLS (where applicable)

    • TNCC

    • ENPC

    • PALS

    • NNLS / EFM

    • Telemetry experience

    • Triage experience

    • Ambulatory / Primary Care experience

    • Medical coding / insurance review experience

    Qualifications

    • Current New York State RN Registration

    • Strong nursing assessment skills in acute care setting

    • Ability to perform majority of patient care skills with minimal supervision

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Duties

    • Deliver comprehensive patient care in a surgical ambulatory setting

    • Perform assessments, triage, and patient education

    • Support surgical specialties including burn, colorectal, thoracic, general surgery, and trauma

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care
