They are looking for a Director of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning who has a proven track record of leading the formulation and execution of our AI and ML strategy, driving the creation of innovative solutions that address complex challenges and yield tangible business outcomes.
This role demands a dynamic leader with a robust technical grounding in AI and ML, adept strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering results.
Leadership:
Lead the expansion and enhancement of our AI team and technology stack, overseeing the entire lifecycle from conception to implementation.
Team Building & Management:
Build a high-performing AI engineering team through strategic recruitment.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and motivation to a diverse team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI specialists.
Technical Direction:
Conduct research, development, and deployment of applications leveraging large language/vision models.
Serve as an authority in AI & Machine Learning, staying abreast of cutting-edge trends and methodologies.
Project Oversight:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of AI & ML projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, scalability, and timeliness.
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI & ML capabilities into existing and new products.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with product teams to discern customer needs and devise solutions in tandem with engineering.
Effectively communicate intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Hold an advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
Bring a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in ML Engineering, computer programming, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
Demonstrate prowess in leading and scaling teams, with a flair for talent acquisition, coaching, and management.
Possess expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and computer vision.
Proficient in Python and well-versed in AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and applications.
Exhibit a track record of deploying ML/AI models in production settings, preferably within the e-commerce or SaaS startup realm.
Communicate effectively and excel in interpersonal relations.
Showcase exceptional leadership qualities, coupled with a clear vision and strategy for data deployment.
