    Summary:

    The Associate Manger, Direct Materials Procurement Operations position will execute strategies for Raw Materials/Packaging suppliers for the Lifestyles Business Unit (LBU) that ensure delivery of business objectives including Customer Service, Cost, Cash, Quality, Innovation and Sustainability. This position will work cross-functionally to ensures Raw/Pack materials are available on time and in full at LBU plants and select third party manufacturers. This role will also partner with LBU Innovation to ensure innovation and new products are implemented on time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), leading regular reviews with SRM suppliers and driving improvements to supplier performance. Participate in expanding/automating SRM by cleansing data, training suppliers, driving recurrent cross-functional meetings with suppliers, and validating scorecards/metrics.

    2. Ensures routines and rituals are set and occur to ensure supplier and SCJ are in conformance with all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

    3. Manages raw/pack suppliers and works cross-functionally with LBU stakeholders (eg. Supply Planning, Quality, etc) to ensure suppliers meet LBU requirements.

    4. Leads implementation of LBU Raw/Pack sourcing strategies.

    5. Proactively assess supplier capacity and initiates improvements with suppliers and stakeholders to increase supply chain reliability and efficiency.

    6. Partners with LBU Innovation teams to represent Procurement in the delivery and execution of LBU Innovation, product launches, etc.

    7. Participates in various LBU forums (S&OP, Innovation teams, etc.).

    8. Ensures supply/material availability at LBU plants and select third party manufacturers and ensures material meets SCJ specifications.

    9. Provides insights and recommendations to sourcing strategies.

    10. Identifies and implements process optimization to minimize cost, reduce waste, maximize efficiencies, and increase speed (eg. MOQ, inventory, lead time optimization).

    11. Ensures prices and other SAP parameters are well maintained (including price maintenance) for LBU Raw/Pack suppliers.

    12. Works with planning teams to pull and provide accurate forecasts to supplier base as needed.
