What you'll be doing...

Develop financial models, tools and corresponding assumptions used to evaluate the profitability and shareholder value of customer acquisition and retention initiatives. Understand business requirements and participate in requirements gathering for building new applications. Design and develop interfaces to load the data from multiple sources, like relational databases and flat files, into Oracle database using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Migrate application and objects from lower environment to higher environment and vice-versa. Establish relation between multiple downstream and upstream applications to Oracle Enterprise Performance Management to load and export data. Support the financial data analysis on other customer initiatives. Analyze the financial profitability of new and existing products and services through the development of business cases and Net Present Value models. Publish quarterly reporting on the value of the business Verizon writes quarterly, factoring and highlighting the impacts on fixed and variable costs. Partner with teams throughout the business to leverage digital finance tools to disseminate the insights to the Verizon employee base. Work closely with the FP&A team to finalize balance sheet and cash flow statements. Provide primary support in the development, testing, and maintenance of reports and dashboards utilizing ad-hoc queries. Help develop visual dashboards in support of quarterly and monthly reporting for various teams across the business that seek insights on fixed and variable costs. Effectively interact with business stakeholders and technical teams at all levels of the organization. Use SQL, Unix, Linux, Oracle Hyperion EPM, Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Hyperion Financial Planning, Oracle Planning Budgeting and Cloud Services (PBCS) and Oracle Enterprise Planning Budgeting and Cloud Services (EPBCS).

What we're looking for...

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of experience in data analysis, data integration, and using SQL, Unix, and Linux. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, the employer will accept an additional 2 years of experience in data analysis, data integration, and using SQL, Unix, and Linux. Experience therein to include 4 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion EPM, Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Planning, and Oracle Hyperion Financial Planning. Experience therein to include 1 year of experience in Oracle Planning Budgeting and Cloud Services (PBCS) and Oracle Enterprise Planning Budgeting and Cloud Services (EPBCS). May work from home 4 days per week.
