ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide experience in applying research and foundational knowledge to real world organizational, leadership and education issues, culture, strategic communications, design theory, and research in support of MCTOG's prepotency role within the TECOM learning enterprise.
Analyze course effectiveness (e.g., end of course critiques, student surveys) and provide recommendations for course/curriculum changes as necessary.Provide expertise in modern curriculum design in order to recommend improvements to MCTOG's curriculum and instruction as appropriate.
Provide expertise to support the MCTOG curriculum development and review process.
Attend, support, and participate in periodic working groups (WGs), off-sites, and operational planning teams (OPTs) in all manners concerning faculty development and curriculum design.
Provide facilitation instruction in support of MCTOG's overall mission, to include battle staff training instructors, subject matter experts, instructors, and support staff as appropriate.
Support the design, development, execution and maintenance of MCTOG's adult learning and facilitation modules in support of instructor development and certification.
Provide training and education on adult learning, theories, and faculty educational self-improvement techniques.Provide individually tailored personal improvement plans for MCTOG instructors.
Provide expertise in modern instruction strategies and support the implementation of improvements to MCTOG's instructional methods as appropriate.
Attend and assess courses of instruction provided by MCTOG and other Navy and Marine Corps organizations to enhance adult learning for MCTOG instructors
EDUCATION
Required MA/MS, PhD preferred, in one or more of the following fields:

Military History
Modern History
Military Science
Military Studies
Strategic Intelligence
National Security
English EXPERIENCE
Adult Learning or the equivalent
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the Joint operational command level.
Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and/or SharePoint.
Must be trained on Marine Corps Instructional Systems Design (MCISD)/Systems Approach to Training and Education (SATE) and Risk Management (RM) (annual requirement).
Must possess higher level educational and experience, and demonstrate both understanding and application of learning theories, principles and conceptsWORKING CONDITIONS
Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
Occasional travel CONUS/OCONUS may be required.
Qualification as an authorized company driver is required
All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider
SECURITY CLEARANCE
A Secret clearance is required for this position.
