    Kitchen Operations Leader

    We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional who shares our commitment to high-quality cuisine and exceptional service. As a vital member of our team, you will take on the role of Kitchen Operations Leader, encouraging and motivating your colleagues to deliver outstanding performance and guest satisfaction.

    As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will supervise hourly team members, stepping up as Kitchen Manager in their absence. You will ensure the kitchen runs efficiently, conducting line checks for readiness, leading during busy periods, and managing clean-up at the end of the day. Your mentorship will guide our team in delivering excellence, creating a positive impact on our guests and fellow team members.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and manage personnel files for all kitchen team members.
    • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and cost control.
    • Lead the expediter role during peak service times, guaranteeing timely and accurately prepared orders.
    • Adhere to recipe and product specifications while preparing and serving food.
    • Train and mentor team members on recipe adherence, cooking techniques, and food safety.
    • Safely operate various kitchen equipment including mixers, slicers, and grills.
    • Control food waste, manage inventory, and place orders based on established pars.
    • Assist in maintaining sanitation standards of all kitchen areas.
    • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager on hiring, training, and retaining talented staff.
    • Possess the initiative to address unforeseen challenges proactively.

    Qualifications:

    • In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills.
    • Extensive understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling practices.
    • Previous supervisory experience with strong communication skills.
    • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
    • Team-oriented with the ability to coach and develop culinary talent.
    • Calm and effective under pressure with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
    • Commitment to quality service and knowledge of food products.
    • Must obtain a manager-level Serve Safe certification within six months of employment.

    Work Schedule:

    • Weekend and holiday availability required.
    • 10-hour shifts.
    • Day and night shifts available.
