Job Description:
Oversee new product launch activities and schedules
Develop manufacturing processes and assembly documents for new products
Responsible for DFx analysis and reporting
Sustain engineering activities, including engineering changes and managing the applicable areas of the business systems for configuration management
Interface with subject matter experts in Test Engineering and Process Engineering for development of specific test/equipment capabilities
Create, control, and distribute engineering change orders and maintain revision control
Analyze customer documentation such as assembly drawings, CAD, Gerbers, BOMs, etc. to ensure that all information is analyzed and absorbed into our internal documents
Review PCB board design from customers, optimize the layout and discuss technical details with suppliers
Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of production issues and develop solutions to enhance product quality and efficiency
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
Minimum of 3 years electronics manufacturing experience
Detailed electronic component and PCB knowledge
Ability to manage several projects at once and prioritize ones workload
Extensive knowledge of industry accepted manufacturing, quality, and technical standards
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical documents including schematics and prints
Ability to interpret engineering tolerances
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to sort, filter, and analyze data in Excel
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public group, and/or customers both virtually and in-person
Organized and self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task
Strong learning mindset
