    This position will require 3 days a week on-site.

    What does the Application Manager do?

    -Responsibilities include managing the technical team supporting our ERP solution (JD Edwards).
    ---Work with the Project Managers, Infrastructure, Web Solutions and Analytics teams, along with our customers IT teams, to shape solutions and integrations throughout the enterprise and for our client partners.

    -Managing the IT Development staff and contractors currently consists of 4 resources

    -Design, development and delivery of quality business applications

    -Leading the approach and design of partner integrations

    -Using technical and functional expertise to be a lead architect in designing solutions

    -Lead design and review sessions with development team, business partners and management -Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project management methodologies

    -Maintain controls that accurately reflect completed work against project plans, schedules and budgets, and ensure user/management involvement at appropriate milestones

    8+ years demonstrated application development management experience in an ERP environment

    Knowledge of supply chain principles and ERP systems

    Strong technical knowledge of IBM i (AS/400), RPG, RPGIV/LE, CLP, SQL and DB2/400

    Excellent knowledge of IBM i architecture including configuration and performance tuning

    Extensive integration experience using APIs / web services and ODBC / JDBC connections to an IBM i
