    Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for Lead Video Conference Technician for a long-term contract opportunity with a state agency here in Austin. The role serves as an escalation point and assists in troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware failures as needed. Provides technical support, training, process creation and leading various project efforts, and is an exceptional local leader and mentor to junior technicians

    Responsibilities:

    Develops detailed test plans for complex computer applications.

    Reviews user requirements and works to resolve discrepancies and clarify processes.

    Writes and edits detailed test cases based on business user requirements and functional specifications.

    Employs automated testing tools to perform functionality testing, including, functional, regression, and system tests to ensure that product is working as expected.

    Employs automated tools to test large amounts (millions of records) of data in the SQL Server database

    Mentors other team members on use of automated functionality testing tools

    Assists in conducting and coordinating all phases of testing.

    Assists functional users involved in User Acceptance Testing and helps verify test results.

    Documents expected and actual test results and records bugs using an automated bug-tracking tool.

    Identifies issues as a result of testing and coordinates resolution.

    Documents test status, outcomes and metrics.

    Experience:

    1-3 Experience providing "white-glove" executive level support

    1-3 Experience leading a support team

    1-3 Experience in KPI management

    1-3 Experience troubleshooting VTC hardware and peripherals in an enterprise environment

    3 Experience creating technical knowledge articles is preferred

    2 Experience utilizing ServiceNow in a support environment is preferred

    2 Working in a multi-vendor environment for support operations is preferred
