    Elementary - Housed at Each Elementary Program (WHC, South, North) (up to 3)*
    Middle/High School - grades DHS and DMSC) housed at Each Secondary Program*

    Terms of Employment: Dates: Monday-Thursday
    Dates M-T July 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10,11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31, Aug 1, (19 days)
    Elementary Program Hours 8-2:30
    Secondary Program Hours: 8:00-12:00
    Professional Development Day - June 24, 2024

    *Coverage of all school programming activities for school assigned- please specify which program you are interested in applying

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Follow health screening protocols
    • Follow district procedure for student and staff check-ins as needed and follow established safety protocols
    • Be on call for emergencies
    • Administer basic first aid
    • Dispense medication
    • Support other programs/buildings as needed
    • Maintain appropriate documentation of all nursing interventions and medication administration in eSchoolSupport all students attending within the building in any summer programs
    • Be reliable, punctual, and prepared to help facilitate the summer school experience
    • Carry out additional duties as assigned by District Supervisor and Principal
    • Provide staff with an overview of supports for summer health programming resources.
    Reports to: Building Principal

    Salary: $36.77 per hour

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Certified or eligible for a School Nurse Certificate
    • Experience with elementary/middle/high school students

    • Favorable Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check for the candidate who is offered employment
    • Tuberculin Test and physical
    • Mandatory Direct Deposit of paycheck
