    Job Description:
    The Project Manager
    • Marketing III (Advanced) is responsible for collaborating with project stakeholders to document project goals, scope, schedule, project plans, deliverables, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed in preparation for several new product launches.
    They ensure select, large product launches are aligned with Launch Excellence processes and expectations and work with Marketing Leadership and Directors to coordinate cross-franchise initiatives. The Project Manager ensures that projects remain in scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.

    They proactively identify key risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, determine impact on the overall schedule, and escalate to leadership as appropriate.

    Additionally, they create, manage, and distribute project communications artifacts like charters, schedules, and budgets.

    They develop and adhere to standard project controls, including reporting procedures, risk & issue management plans, communication plans, and change controls, ensuring alignment with Launch Excellence procedures for select launches.

    Providing project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders is also part of their responsibility.

    The Project Manager communicates routinely to management, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively solicits and addresses project issues, and escalates when necessary.

    They coordinate with creative agencies to ensure key creative assets have briefs aligned with MAH stakeholders, review project proposals/costs, obtain internal customer approval, and ensure creative development plans are adhered to and support the overall Global Marketing project plan.

    They ensure awareness of support needs and engage support as needed, and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Establishing key project success and success metrics and key performance indicators is also part of their role. They plan and lead status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and commercial operations.

    The Project Manager is responsible for training, managing, and motivating the project team, resolving team conflicts, and resolving technical and process issues as required.

    They are experienced in Agile and Traditional project approaches, using appropriate techniques and mindsets from each.


    Qualifications:

    Education:
    BS or BATotal years of Experience: 8-10 years in progressive Project Management

    Required Skills:
    Understanding of global marketing/commercial environments, preferably in pharmaceuticals/healthcareAbility to manage multiple, high-priority projects with interdependencies and provide cross-portfolio reporting to global marketing leadershipStrong skills in Microsoft Suite of Office products (Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)3+ years of Microsoft Project Planning experience and an understanding of how to plan and manage projects with interdependenciesNice to Have /

    Preferred Skills:
    Prior experience planning and managing product launches, preferably in the pharmaceutical industryUnderstanding and experience with VEEVA VaultExperience working with multiple cultures and individuals where English is a second language3-5 years minimum involvement within Commercial sales, Marketing planning, creative development, and tactical communications implementationProficiency in applying agile frameworks and practices

    Background Preferred:
    Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Biologics, Financial, Engineering, or work in regulated EnvironmentsProject management certificationScrum Master certification#J-18808-Ljbffr
