Statement of Purpose:
Under the direct supervision of the Diet Supervisors, the Dietary Aide performs a variety of food service, dish room duties and cash handling duties as well as other related activities

Qualifications:

Education:
Ability to read, write, speak & understand English at a 8th grade level. High school graduate preferred.


Certification / License:
Serve Safe certification preferred


Experience:
Food service experience in a health care facility preferred. Must have good positive, interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to read and comprehend patient meal ticket information in English food items, name, and room Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPossess stamina to constantly make trips up & down to patient floors, delivering / retrieving trays, and floor supplies throughout the shift.

Ability to stand throughout the shift while performing duties.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in English.
